Prof. Puratan Bharti is a Mentor under the ATL (Atal Innovation Mission), NITI Aayog, and has previously served as a Business Mentor for IIT-Bombay (Abhyuday Program). He has also served as a Board of Studies Member at Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce.  He is the Chief Editor of Stop Loss News, a weekly newspaper duly registered under Ministry of I&B and focused on business, economics, and finance, read by thousands of finance professionals, investors, and market enthusiasts across the country. He is presently the Mentor to the Symbiosis Investments & Finance Association (SIFA). Puratan Bharti is also a trainer for the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and lead trainer and SME for NSE Academy.

He has over 15 years of experience in consulting, merger and acquisition, financial modelling, valuations, financial audit & restructuring, plant audits, strategic management and India entry strategy. During this professional journey Bharti has advised many billion-dollar corporates during his career. His geographic area of experience includes United States, UK, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, China, South Korea, Japan, MENA region, Israel, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka so and so forth.

He presently runs his own stock analysis, investment, risk management and hedging program which is structured around practical learning of CFA, FRM, CMT, CIMA, CMA and other global accounting and finance curriculum. Such a program is unique in its concept and application and probably the first such program. It draws concept of fundamental analysis from text book, mixes it with market research analysis and tests the theoretical concept on stock prices.

His areas of research/ project include Automotive (engines, brakes, filters, tires), Off-high way vehicles FMCG, Pipes, Building & Construction Material, Solar Projects, Hospitals and many more.

Prof. Puratan Bharti through his training academy has trained and consulted both retail and corporate clients, prop. trading desk on hedging strategies and risk management practices. He also advised various stock exchanges including Nigerian Stock Exchange.
